Membership of the APA is organizational; A National Prosecution Service, Agency and / or Authority shall be eligible for membership as an organization; An Organizations application for membership shall be made to the executive committee; Membership may be granted if in the opinion of the Executive Committee the Service, Agency or Authority is the principle or only prosecution Service Agency or Authority of the country; Membership may be refused if such membership shall be inconsistent with or otherwise contrary to the aims and objectives of the Association; An appeal against a decision of the Executive Committee may be lodged with the Executive Committee who will refer it to the Conflict Committee at a General Meeting The organization is drawn from every region on the African continent, and represents over 28 Prosecution Authority’s/ Agency’s. The APA’s Executive Committee, drawn from over 8 countries, ranging from Egypt, Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Angola, Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa, meets four times a year. One meeting is linked to the Annual Conference. Meetings have been held in South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia and Angola |
