The map of Africa, which appears in the centre of the logo, symbolizes the centrality of the rule of law and the effective and swift management of justice in Africa. It also reflects the continental scope of the mandate and objectives of the Association.

The circular shape around the map of Africa is a symbol of unity and serves as a reminder that cooperation and assistance between Prosecutors from all legal systems in Africa is the most effective tool in the fight against transnational organized crime.

The presence of two leaves on either side of the circular bands, illustrates that Prosecutors from Africa will pursue the objectives of justice within the rule of law and according to the principles of fundamental justice in a process that is fair, transparent objective and accountable.
